Kalamazoo – 4/2/26 Rheem RD16-18 Universal Heat Pumps
During this class we will do an overview of the outdoor equipment, discuss the outdoor unit components, their purpose and how they function. We will review the application and installation of the heat pump in a universal and dual fuel installation. Start up procedures and commissioning processes will be reviewed. We will also review the sequence of operation in heating, cooling and defrost modes when operated with Econet, 24-volt legacy control using the Rheem algorithm as well as 24-volt legacy and two stage operation. Finally, a discussion about component troubleshooting.
